Standing as a towering testament to our craftsmanship, we designed and brought to life a giant 12-foot hard-coated statue of Thanos for TerrifiCon at Mohegan Sun. Inspired by the comics, the intricately detailed statue captures the menacing essence of the iconic Marvel villain. To facilitate ease of transportation, the statue ingeniously disassembles into three pieces, ensuring smooth logistics for event setups. The acclaim for our creation extends beyond its visual impact; Jim Starlin, the legendary creator of Thanos, has not only expressed admiration for the statue but has also taken pictures with it over four years and even bestowed his signature upon it. This collaboration has become a harmonious synergy of artistic talent and fandom.

The entire process, from conception to execution, involved cutting-edge techniques. We employed 3D design and CNC carving to bring Thanos to life, ensuring faithful adherence to the comic source material. The statue was accompanied by a meticulously Photoshopped comics-style backdrop, serving as a promotional masterpiece for both Decimated Designs and TerrifiCon. This larger-than-life installation has become a standout attraction, drawing fans into the immersive world of Marvel Comics and solidifying our reputation for delivering iconic and visually striking creations.
