Lifecasting
Done properly, lifecasting can be used as art, to preserve a memory, or as a tool for makeup and special effects. If done incorrectly however, lifecasting can be harmful and dangerous, leading to burns, suffocation, or exposure to dangerous chemicals.
Decimated Designs uses only the highest quality materials with your safety and comfort as our priority through the entire process. We have experience casting bodies and body parts of all sizes and shapes, as well as casting additional materials including clothing, hair, and hand-held objects.
Most of our casting is single-use, meaning that a stone model is made and then the cast is disposed of; however multi-use semi-reusable casts are available at an additional cost. Stone molds can be painted with acrylic, latex, or oil based paints and then sealed, or pigmented colors can be added to the stone-base so the entire piece is colored. Personally though, we love the look of having your very own stone statue to display as such!

The above pricing is for casting stone sculpture only, no finish, and no mounting. These prices are subject to change if modifications are requested.
Castings can be finished with a number of different coatings and mounted on quite a few different materials. Alternative casting materials are also available upon request.
Please contact for quotes on: Themed/holding object casts, documented weight loss casting, pre/post-surgery casts, death masks, or your own unique casting idea with as much detail as possible.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to book any casting appointment.
