Our makeup FX work for the movie “Addiction: A 60’s Love Story” delved into the realm of visceral and transformative effects, collaborating with director Tate Steinsiek of Face Off fame. Among the standout creations were the intricate melting face and vein-pulled-out-of-arm gags on actor Ian Harding, pushing the boundaries of realism to captivate audiences with chilling and grotesque visuals. Actor Ray Santiago underwent a dramatic transformation, portraying a days-old corpse with haunting authenticity. Additionally, our team skillfully crafted various drug-use-related effects, such as scabs and gritty street makeups, contributing to the film’s immersive narrative of addiction and its toll on the characters.
