The centerpiece of the Blackcraft Salem store, our team undertook the creation of a monumental 13-foot hard-coated foam witch statue, marking it as the largest witch statue in Salem! This ambitious project began with the translation of a provided drawing into a detailed 3D model. Using advanced digital modeling tools, we meticulously captured the intricate details, ensuring a faithful representation of the envisioned design. To ensure client satisfaction and collaboration, we sent 3D prints of the model for final approval, allowing for adjustments and refinements before proceeding to the next stages of production.

Considering the logistical challenges posed by the statue’s size, we strategically designed it to be assembled on-site. The statue was created in sections which had to fit through a standard-sized single doorway, something we repeatedly tested for in our 3D programs during the design phase. The team meticulously assembled and finished the statue on-site, bringing the larger-than-life witch to its final form within the store. Recognizing the importance of safety compliance, we provided engineering specifications to meet the standards required by town officials. This thorough approach ensured not only the visual impact of the statue but also its structural integrity and adherence to regulations, contributing to the overall success and safety of the Blackcraft Salem store.
