In the midst of the Covid-19 lockdown, we brought monstrous delights to life for the “From Beyond” drive-thru cryptid experience, offering a unique and Covid-safe escape for thrill-seekers. Among our creations was a striking 12′ Cthulhu backpack puppet, complete with enormous tentacles and glowing, light-up eyes, adding a touch of cosmic horror to the immersive drive-thru experience. Additionally, we designed two arm-stilt costumes featuring giant sideways mouths that could run at cars on all fours, creating an unsettling and dynamic interaction. To heighten the sense of transformation, we crafted tentacle arms for scientists mid-metamorphosis, featuring mouths on the ends that could open and close. This innovative and engaging project not only showcased our creature design expertise but also provided a fun and safe outlet for people craving entertainment during challenging times, offering a thrilling escape from the confines of lockdown.
