Our team had the distinct pleasure of creating a gigantic 12-foot King Kong smoking a joint for the Empire Weed Club’s 4/20 event at Terminal 5 in NYC for Method Man and Redman of the Wu-Tang Clan, along with DJ Funkmaster Flex to perform in front of. We began with the scaled Empire State Building for Kong to climb, made sure that Kong was plenty furry while also remaining fire retardant, and then even extended to making sure the joint’s tip was designed to glow, creating an interactive and visually captivating element for the event.

In addition to the giant Kong, our creative contributions extended to the event’s overall aesthetic. We 3D designed the front of the DJ booth, ensuring it seamlessly aligned with the larger-than-life theme. The background buildings were also meticulously crafted in 3D, adding depth and atmosphere to the event space. Our work for the Empire Weed Club’s 4/20 event showcased not only our ability to create attention-grabbing sculptures but also our expertise in 3D design, ensuring a cohesive and visually stunning experience for Method Man, Redman, DJ Funkmaster Flex, and all attendees.
