Our recreation of the Soggy Doggy animatronic for Spin Master Toys at the Chicago Toy & Game Fair was a meticulous engineering feat. Beginning with a precise 3D model of the original toy, we ventured into the challenges of color matching the foam to PMS specifications and addressing the unique requirements of realistic movement and water resistance. The animatronic had to authentically simulate the toy’s actions, enduring water exposure as the dog was sprayed by the shower and subsequently shook off, creating an engaging and immersive experience for children. Additionally, our attention to detail extended to recreating the entire bath setup, complete with the bathtub, soap dispenser, shower, and handles, ensuring a faithful representation of the beloved toy at the fair.
