Our collaboration with the metal band Static-X led to the creation of visually striking costumes and puppets that added a dynamic and theatrical dimension to their stage shows. The first costume, a recreation of the "X-Bot" character, featured a striking giant "X" head, complete with full-sized resistor antennae. Mechanical robotic-looking gloves and a stage-safe urethane foam shovel complemented the ensemble, contributing to the band's fun and industrial aesthetic. The second creation was the larger-than-life "Franken Wayne" puppet, standing at an impressive 10 feet tall. This puppet boasted a turning head, puppeteered hands, and oversized legs and feet that moved in tandem with the puppeteer. The addition of built-in mini-fog machines added an extra element being paired with the character's drug delivery "vape" apparatus. This puppet brought an interactive and visually captivating element to the band's stage presence. The "Disco Witch" puppet emerged as a unique and sinister addition, featuring an enormous evil disco ball with Jack-O-Lantern faces and tree branch limbs. Initially appearing happy, the puppet would spin to reveal a red LED-lit angry face, adding an element of surprise and theatricality to the band's performances.
