In our collaboration with COLONY Video for the Dr. Sheffield’s Toothpaste Commercial, our Makeup FX expertise took center stage to convey the brand’s message effectively. Crafting custom lace beards and mustaches, we tailored the appearance of the actors to the intended time period. Employing aging and dirt effects, we imbued authenticity into the characters, highlighting the transformative power of the toothpaste. Additionally, we meticulously painted some of the actors’ teeth to simulate rot, underscoring the product’s efficacy in maintaining dental health. Through our comprehensive makeup techniques, we not only enhanced the visual narrative of the commercial but also emphasized the effectiveness of Dr. Sheffield’s Toothpaste in promoting oral hygiene.
